Zanini Cineus is arrested on Monday morning for allegedly breaking into the mansion owned by Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen. And it’s apparently not the first time the 34-year-old Cineus has been charged in a Brady-related crime.

Officers responded to Woodland Road after alarms went off just before 6 a.m. Police said they found Cineus sitting on a couch in the former New England Patriots quarterback’s basement. An alarm company was watching him on camera, police said.

Crime, Arrest

Police responded to the home at 5:55 a.m. after a security company monitoring the home reported that multiple alarms had gone off in the house. They reported seeing an intruder in the house on a security camera.

The man was found sitting on a couch in the basement, police said.

No one was home. Brady and his family moved to Florida after he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the offseason.

Police identified the suspect as 34-year-old Zanini Cineus, formerly of Brockton and who is now homeless. He faces arraignment later Monday on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, attempted larceny, and trespassing, according to a statement from police.

“In addition, Mr. Cineus had several active warrants out of Wrentham District Court stemming from incidents that occurred in Foxboro, MA late last year,” reads a statement from Brookline Police.

Charge

He is facing charges of stealing memorabilia, including a Tom Brady jersey from a locker room exhibit inside the Patriots Hall of Fame, according to the Foxboro police in October 2019.

Police said Cineus, who is currently homeless, is expected to be arraigned in Brookline District Court later Monday on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, attempted larceny, and trespassing.
