Janae Gagnier, aka Mercedes Morr, was a 33-years-old Instagram and OnlyFans model. She was killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Richmond, Texas, near Houston. Police officers found the bodies after they responded to a welfare check at about 4 p.m. Sunday. The cause of death for both Gagnier and the man is pending autopsy results.

A man who investigators believe to be the suspect was also found dead in the house. The Richmond police issued an update on Monday evening identifying the murder-suicide culprit as 34-year-old Kevin Alexander Accorto.

Officers believe the incident may have been a murder-suicide and that there was no relationship between Gagnier and Accorto. An official cause of death for both Gagnier and Accorto has not been released.

Gagnier’s sister, London, wrote on Instagram, “She wasn’t robbed. It was just a stalker from out of state who’d BEEN stalking her.”

Gagnier’s sister’s full post on Instagram reads, “yesterday was the worst day of my life.. my heart is gone. My soul is gone. … We talk every day. I wouldn’t say I like this for you. I feel like I’m screaming every 10 mins. I got daddy & grandma Nae Nae. I feel you with me telling me you’re good. I hate everything right now.”

A look at her Instagram shows that she was probably already engaged. She posted one video showing off an engagement ring with the caption, “I “promise” he goes hard bout me @malikthejeweler #promisering.”

Gagnier had a huge following on Instagram, boasting a massive 2 million followers. She was also an OnlyFans model. Her last post on the site was on August 24, 2021.

Gagnier, 33, was found dead at her Richmond home along with Accorto on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Gagnier was known on her Instagram page as “Miss Mercedes Morr.” She has more than 2.6 million followers on Instagram.

Richmond Police said in a statement, “At this point in the investigation, it is not believed that there was a relationship between the suspect and the victim. At this point, this is being considered a murder/suicide, and it is an ongoing investigation to determine the motive in the case.”

The medical examiner told KHOU that Accorto died by suicide as a result of multiple blunt force trauma. Did not release further details about his cause of death.
