Jorge Santana is the Youngest Brother of Carlos Santana. His real name is Guillermo Santana is a Mexican guitarist and an accomplished musician. He is mostly known for being the youngest brother of the famous guitarist Carlos Santana.

Jorge Santana was born on 13 June 1951 and died on 14 May 2020. He has died at the age of 68 years.

He was the youngest of three brothers and the second one, after Carlos.
Career
Jorge started playing in San Francisco at 14 and he later joined a band in the 1960s with his high school friends dubbed The Malibus. The band’s name was later changed to Malo in 1970.
Malo signed with Warner Bros and its self-titled album included the top 20 hits “Suavecito” which is known as the Chicano national anthem played at carne asada kickbacks all over the country. The track was a huge hit, that Malo ended up performing on “American Bandstand,” in 1972.

Jorge released two solo albums on Tomato Records, Jorge Santana and It’s All About Love, featuring former Malo members. In the mid-1970s he played with the Fania All-Stars which ended up playing at the classic Yankee Stadium in 1973 in front of more than 63,000 in attendance
He toured with his brother Santana, and in the ’90s and they got together for the 1994 album “Santana Brothers” that included their cousin, Carlos Hernandez. The album Sacred Fire: Live in South America was recorded in Mexico City on this tour, featuring Jorge Santana, who played a personalized orange Paul Reed Smith guitar.
Jorge Santana Cause of Death
Jorge died on Thursday 14 May 2020. He was 68 years at the age. His rep John Regna told TMZ that Jorge died of natural causes. His brother Carlos Santana wrote a very heartwarming tribute to him, he wrote: “We take time to celebrate the magnificent spirit of our beloved brother Jorge. He transitioned unto the realm of light that cast no shadow…We love to cherish and honor your soul.”
