Eriz Marcus Anthony Wiki – Eriz Marcus Anthony Bio
Eriz Marcus Anthony is the suspect accused of the fatal road rage shooting death in California of 6-year-old Aiden Anthony Leos. Anthony, and Lee Wynne, are expected to be charged with murder in the May 21 killing of Aiden Leos.
They have been arrested in a road-rage shooting on a freeway in Orange County, Calif., last month in which a 6-year-old boy was killed while his mother was driving him to school, the authorities announced on Sunday.
Eriz Marcus Anthony is 24 years old.
Road-Rage Shooting in California
Aiden Leos was on his way to kindergarten when authorities said a person in another vehicle opened fire on the car his mother, Joanna Cloonan, was driving.
Aiden, who was sitting in a booster seat, told his mother that his “tummy” hurt after being struck by a bullet.
The CHP said there had been “some type of road-rage incident” involving Cloonan and another motorist before the shooting.
An initial reward of $50,000 that was seeking information leading to a conviction had risen to half a million dollars by last week.
Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer described the shooting as a “road rage incident” and said the killing “has left our entire community devastated.”
“6-year-old Aiden should have been in kindergarten today, but instead, his family is getting ready for his funeral tomorrow,” Spitzer said last week.
Arrested and Charge
Eriz Marcus Anthony, 24, and Lee Wynne, 23, are expected to be charged with the murder of the boy, Aiden Anthony Leos, who was struck by gunfire on May 21 while riding in the back seat of his mother’s car on the 55 Freeway in Orange, Calif., the California High Patrol said.
After what the authorities said, the shooting happened was a perceived unsafe lane change, with an occupant of a white Volkswagen station wagon firing at least one round at the vehicle carrying Aiden.
The boy’s killing, who was struck in the torso while riding in a child car seat, has drawn widespread attention. A $500,000 reward was offered for information leading to an arrest, and the California Highway Patrol released images of the suspects’ vehicles.
